WORKCAMP

WALES WEST ALWAYS NEEDS QUALITY PEOPLE TO LEND A HAND.

If your a fun loving person that likes to stay busy then we may have a spot for you. Our Workcampers are all typically self starters that take great pride in the projects they are involved in. Most of our regular seasonal helpers are retired skilled tradesmen that love to build and work with their hands on projects such as ornate wood working, toy making, sign making, wiring, plumping, landscaping, track laying, model building and a host of other projects that require a good deal of skill and effort. We also have annual helpers that work at craft projects, pot-lucks, special events, house keeping, and office staff. They are wonderful people that have become dear friends and we would like to invite you to join the fun. Our workcamp program is a bit different than the normal 25 hours of labor a week for a full hook up site. If that is what you are looking for then you will not be happy here. We do ask that each helper try to put in 25 hours for their site but typically all of our repeat helpers put in much more time than that because they are having fun doing what they do. They also have fun being with each other for coffee breaks, lunches out, and nightly and weekend adventures. The point we want our helpers to understand is that we feel that to be able to work & create is a blessing and not just a means to and. The challenges that our work/campers experience helps keep them physically, mentally, and spiritually stimulated. If you have skills developed over a life time that you are proud of and want to continue to practice in a friendly, relaxed, fun loving environment send us your resume. We have openings year round for fun loving folks that like to keep busy
