Our Facilities

The grounds, and buildings have been styled along a 19^th. Century (Victorian) Welsh theme. Behind the facade, all the facilities are as modern as possible. The comfort and safety of our guests is the resorts highest priority. 

The resort is being built in three stages. Upon completion of the last stage, the little valley in south Alabama where the resort is located, will be transformed into North America's only Welsh wonderland and the worlds most westerly Welsh Victorian narrow gauge steam railway.

• The Keep - Convenience store:- Stocked with food and RV items

This adorable building is located at the main entrance to the resort. It is modeled after the mediaeval defence towers of old England. With it`s towering walls, pointed roof, and murder hole windows you can rest easy knowing that the gate to Wales West is well guarded.

Within the "Keep" is the registration desk where RV guests check in and out and the resort grocery, with a selection of essential items. Such goods as tissues, soap, bread, canned goods, milk, beverages, snacks, and newspapers can be purchased here. We also have a selection of items for RV'ers such as sealers, tie downs, cleaners, and hardware, etc.

• Large community building:- Incorporating the Great Hall

Within the Community Building we have;

• In Resort Activities;

Whether you like to sit and relax, walk the tracks, run, play yard games, fish, swim, soak or float a boat you can do it all here at Wales West. We have a large open great room that is perfect for group activities. There is a mile long nature trail, 3-acre lake, trains, gardens, volunteer programs, a beach, swimming pool, library, and so much more to do right here in the resort you may never want to leave.

White sand beach along the shore of a 3-acre spring fed lake.

Special event days for hobbyist

• Storage & shop facilities:

Short-term storage and workshop access is available to hobbyist free of charge.
Long term storage and shop services are available to hobbyist for an additional cost.
Long term storage for R.V`s is available in a secured parking lot for an additional cost.
